The Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) is a cricket organization based in Colombo, Sri Lanka 1. It was established in 1922 and has been promoting cricket in Sri Lanka for almost a century. The MCA conducts seven major tournaments and over 500 match fixtures every year. It is the highest-ranked cricket-promoting association in the country and has been selected by Cricket Sri Lanka as the ideal on which to model its own tournaments
